Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-18
This Privacy Policy explains how Cubre Inc., a Colorado corporation (“Cubre,” “we,” “us”), handles personal information in connection with this website.
1. The short version
This website does not collect personal information about you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts or trackers, and has no forms, accounts, or logins. There is nothing here that identifies you, and we build no profile of your visit.
The only way you can send us personal information through this website is by choosing to email the address we publish. What you send in that email is up to you.
Section 6 separately describes the text messages we send to people who hold a Cubre account. Those are sent from the application, not from this website.
2. Scope — this page covers the website, plus our text messages
This policy describes this website. Except for section 6, it does not describe the Cubre application. Personal information handled inside the Cubre application is governed by the separate agreement between Cubre and the business that uses it, and by the privacy notice provided under that agreement.
Section 6 is the exception. It describes the text messages Cubre sends to people who hold a Cubre account. It appears here, on the public website, because mobile carriers require that disclosure to be publicly available.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology. Because we do not track you, this website does not respond differently to a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal — there is no tracking to turn off.
4. Information we receive
If you email us. When you write to the address on this website, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to read and reply. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to handle your request and to maintain ordinary business records.
Server logs. Like any website, this site is served by a hosting provider that may record standard technical request information, such as IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser user-agent. This is generated by the infrastructure that delivers the page, is used for security and reliability, and is not used by us to identify you or to build a profile.
5. Service providers
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising. We use a small number of providers to operate this website and our email, and they process information only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers this website.
- Proton — provides the mailbox that receives email sent to the address below.
- Twilio — transmits the verification text messages described in section 6. Twilio receives a mobile number only in order to deliver the message, and never for its own marketing.
We do not disclose personal information to anyone else except when required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
6. Text messages and mobile information
Mobile information and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Nothing elsewhere in this policy should be read to permit it. The only party that receives your mobile number is the telecommunications provider that transmits the message for us, and only so that the message can be delivered.
Who we text. Only people who already hold a Cubre account and who have chosen to turn on phone-based two-step verification, entering their own mobile number in the application to do so. We do not text anyone who has not done that, and we do not send marketing or promotional text messages of any kind.
What we send. One-time verification codes, used to confirm it is you signing in or enrolling a phone. Nothing else.
How often. Only when you enroll a phone or sign in — there is no recurring or scheduled message.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Cubre does not charge you for these messages.
Stopping them. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also remove your phone from your account at any time in the application. Because these messages are sign-in codes, stopping them means you will need to use one of the other verification methods Cubre supports — a code sent to your email address, or one of the backup codes issued when you enrolled.
Messages sent by a contracting business, not by us. A business that uses Cubre may send its own customers messages about their jobs, estimates, or invoices. Those messages are sent by that business through its own messaging account, under its own consent and opt-out arrangements. That business is the sender — not Cubre — and this section does not describe those messages.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. Because this website collects nothing, in most cases we hold nothing about you. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to us and we will do it.
To make a request, email the address in section 11. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version posted on this page is the version in effect, and the “last updated” date above reflects when it changed.
